About a three hour drive from Managua Inernational Airport to IGUANA BEACH RESORT where you can sample Panga Drop and Colorados a short walk from your great a/c condo with dish TV.
Panga drops: Sand mixed with reef bottom. Right or Left depending on swell direction. Outside peak lines up with inside when working.
Colorados: Shallow rivermouth stands up more than Panga drops but more hallow. Best on mid-incoming tide.
Travel the gated development by foot or rent a golf cart or bike. Restaurant and pizza shop are ready and a mini mart is in progress within the development.
Want to sample more waves - try the boat trip where you can sample manzanillo, popoyo, or playgrounds or try a guided surf trip by 4x4 car to hit Rancho Santana, Popoyo, asterillo or playgrounds.
On the tame side, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom condos furnished in a danish modern style - basic, functional and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Pool and access to wireless(on your own laptop), tours for fishing, volcanos and the lakes can be arranged.
Food - one of the best parts of a surf trip. You have a complete kitchen in your condo but prepaid meal plans can be purchased which include breakfast served by the pool from 8-almost noon and smoothie bar open 8-11am. Lunch and dinner prepared in your condo by your cook prepared from options given to you. Only $35 per person a day for all 3 meals. Ready yet....it's all there. Waves, Comfort, and plain old fun
