Playa Iguana Condos

Playa Iguana is located inside a 20 acre private beach front community, home to two of the best waves in Nicaragua, Colorados and Panga Drops. The property also has a beautiful regulation golf course where you can unwind after your surf session. Surfing and Golfing are not the only activities to do here either. You can enjoy great fishing, horseback riding, sailing, scuba diving, surf lessons, cooking lessons, massages, wild life viewing and more. The property has three pools, a private beach club at Colorados, restaurant, sports bar, and even a surfboard rental shop.

Accommodations:

Our accommodations offer 1, 2, and 3 bedroom newly built condos fully equipped with all the modern conveniences and great views of the surrounding nature.

The condos include AC, full kitchen, gas oven, refrigerator, sink, microwave, blender, coffee maker, pots, pans, and all cooking utensils. There are also ceiling fans in all rooms, washer and dryer, TV, DVD, stereo system, video library, internet, and a battery backup system so you never find yourself without power.

From the condos it is only a short five minute walk west to the mile long beach and a five minute walk from the restaurant and golf course located to the east of the condos. So you are perfectly located to take full advantage of all the amenities without having to walk to far. Golf carts are also available to rent to drive around the premises.

Surf:

Our property is home to two of the best surf breaks in Nicaragua, Colorados and Panga Drops. This area gets great year round swell and hosts 300+ days of offshore winds blowing in from Lake Nicaragua. There are several other breaks in the area that suit all types of surfing, from beginner to experienced. To surf Colorados and Panga drops you have to either be staying at the property or take a boat trip in from another location so our location is prime.

Colorados is a shallow river mouth that offers hollow rights and lefts and breaks best on a incoming tide. It is located on the south end of the beach and is widely recognized as the most consistent and best beach break in Nicaragua. Short paddle out and when it's firing it's world class.

Panga Drops is an offshore horseshoe shaped rock-reef break that amplifies any swell. Breaks best on a lower tide and handles any swell that hits Nicaragua. Requires a fairly long paddle out but once you're there it offers long rippable walls and shacks on the inside section.

Rates:

• 1 Bedroom 1 Bath: $115 per night (maximum of 2 guests)
• 2 Bedroom 2 Bath: $138 per night (maximum of 4 guests)
• 3 Bedroom 2 Bath: $195 per night (maximum of 6 guests)

* Divide rate by number of guests to get per person rates (ex: $195 / 6 guests = $32.50 pp per night)

• Airport Transfers - $165 each way
• Meal Plan - $35 per person per day
• Surfboard Rentals - $125 per week / $25 per day (pay for onsite)
• Golf Carts - $25 to $35 per day (pay for onsite)
• Golf Clubs - $15 per day (pay for onsite)
• Surf/Fish Boat Trips - $150 to $400 depending on how many people and where you go (pay for onsite)

• Group of 2 - $795 per person
• Group of 4 - $570 per person
• Group of 6 - $528 per person

Includes: 1, 2, or 3 bedroom condo (depending on group size), 3 meals per day cooked to your liking inside your condo, roundtrip airport transfers to and from the condos, and all taxes.
