SENDING IN DEPOSIT/PAYMENT CONFIRMS YOUR AGREEMENT WITH THEM.
SURF EXPRESS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

RESERVATIONS: When making your reservation it is important for you to know the dates you want to travel as well as alternate dates should your first choice be sold out. Also needed are correct legal names of all traveling with you as they appear on passports. If travelers are from another country the entry requirements may be different and additional documentation may be needed to re-enter the US.

INCLUDED IN SURF EXPRESS PACKAGES: US Taxes at time of printing total $56 plus $20 security fee.’ Hotel taxes are also included. Departure taxes are also included. Departure taxes from the country you visit generally cannot be prepaid by Surf Express. Many countries now charge visa (or entry fees) in addition to departure taxes. We do not include Visa fees, Visitors Card or Passport fees in package. Any vehicle guarantee (such as insurance deductible) is not included in package rates and are subject to change. Surf Express cannot be held liable for these changes.

CHANGES create problems. Faxes can be overlooked or not posted, computer glitches may occur. Because of the number of changes experienced we are forced to levy an expense charge of $50 per change. Name and date changes on airline tickets are subject to airline rules and regulations. Many names cannot be changed after entering them into the computer, even to correct spelling. The minimum fee for changing an airline ticket is $100 IF allowable. It is very important to verify spelling and legal names and citizenship of all traveling with you before the ticket is issued. There is a $25 fee for bookings less than 15 days before departure to expedite processing and documents.

DEPOSIT policies differ as to season of year, hotel, tour or airline. Most airlines require payment within 2 weeks of booking. All hotels and vehicles must be paid at least 30 days before travel begins and some holiday hotel reservations require non-refundable payment within 10 days following confirmation of reservations.

REFUNDS No refunds are given for any unused prepaid services included in the package or for any changes made enroute. Any exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis. Refund requests must be made in writing and be received within 30 days of your return. Unused vouchers which have been prepaid have no refund value unless you present to us a signed authorization from a representative of the hotel, car rental agency, or vendor, stating the exact refund (example 1 day, 2 nights, etc), Please beware that when you book your stay, your dates/accommodations are locked in and set aside for you and your choice not to use them is your loss. No one-day refunds are allowed on vehicle rentals. A change fee will be charged by Surf Express to adjust any refund authorized by the vendor.

CANCEL fees vary as to the date of travel and destination. Airline penalties vary but most are non refundable, the amount of the ticket less a penalty fee may usually be applied toward another ticket on that airline in the name of the same person valid within one year of date of issue. The general rule for hotels is refund less $50 per person outside of 30 days prior departure except for stricter rules regarding holidays. Hotel policies may vary but the general rules are: A. Hotels (excluding holidays) outside of 21 days = 25%. B. Less than 21 days before departure 50%. C. Less than 14 days = 75%. Less than 7 days = no refund.

CHANGES IN SCHEDULES & RATES: All rates are correct at time of printing but are subject to change without notice. Airfares are not guaranteed until paid and ticketed, and hotels paid promptly. Changes in baggage policies and fees can occur without notice. Surf Express cannot be held liable for excess or oversized baggage fees and the policy changes or decision of any airline, transfer vendor or car rental agency.

PLEASE NOTE: We reserve the right to re-invoice you in case of an error made in computing your price.

AIRLINE LIABILITY: Air carriers may not be held liable for any act or omission or event during the time you are not aboard the aircraft. The contract used by these carriers when attached to your ticket shall constitute the sole contract between the carrier and you. In purchasing the ticket you acknowledge and accept their contract.

PARTICIPATION: Purchaser is responsible for selecting a trip appropriate to his/her health, physical abilities and interests. Use of any vehicle or water sports equipment is solely at the risk of the participant. Surf Express assumes no responsibility for minors traveling without parents.

California, phone East Coast 321 779-2124,West Coast 619 537-9289 FAX 321 779-0652, its employees and affiliates act as agents for airlines, hotel, tour and transfer services and cannot be held responsible for injury, death, damage, loss, accident or delay to persons or property as any act of default or negligence of hotel, carrier, restaurant, company or persons rendering services. All vouchers or tickets are issued subject to terms and conditions specified by the supplier. By paying for your package and accepting ticket, vouchers and other documents and or utilizing the service you agree that neither Surf Express, its employees or representatives, shall be liable for any claims, losses, damage, cost or expenses arising out of your injury, accidents, death, damage, loss or delay of baggage, surfboard or delay, inconvenience, loss of employment or frustration, whether physical or mental resulting from: 1. The act or omission of any person or firm supplying your service or 2. Mechanical breakdown, government activity, strikes, weather, acts of God or other factors or causes beyond our control or the control of any supplier of service. 3. Failure to follow instruction including but not limited to verification of citizenship, check-in time, inspection of vehicle, equipment used, baggage handling and safe driving. Any changes made by guest or passenger is done entirely at own risk and expense understanding that Surf Express, agents, or employees will not be responsible for any service or expense and no refund will be made. Surf Express reserves the right to change or modify itinerary, withdraw or change any itinerary should conditions warrant and to decline to book any passenger(s) as participants of any itinerary or group. The price of travel is based on rates in effect (including foreign exchange rates) at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice. We cannot guarantee waves or weather conditions. No guarantees, expressed or implied are made that the travel itinerary/destination will meet all of the traveler’s expectation or dreams.
